OREANDA-NEWS. Interroll has signed a framework contract with the American systems integrator NPI (National Presort LP) to supply four additional crossbelt sorters including the respective conveyor technology to the Brazil Post. Six sorters were already ordered in November 2014.

The total order placed by Brazil Post now includes 10 sorters plus the respective conveyor technology. The first sorter will be shipped in 2015 and the last of the sorters will be installed in 2017. The operational performance will take place primarily in 2016. The individual sorter orders are being processed in close cooperation with Interroll’s regional Center of Excellence in Atlanta, USA, that opened last year and Interroll Group’s global Center of Excellence for Modules and Subsystems located in Sinsheim, Germany.

Each additional sorter ordered together with the respective conveyor technology is worth between approx. USD 2 million and USD 4 million. This means the total additional framework contract is worth an amount in the low double-digit million region.
