OREANDA-NEWS. "Some suppliers of AvtoVAZ for the production of components buy metal today in Turkey. It's not right. I think we need to look at our Russian industry ... "- announced the Chief Federal Inspector in the Samara region of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, Sergei Chaban, to journalists, at the meeting with the management of AvtoVAZ with automotive component manufacturers. It is just one of the problems that the federal inspector heard from the suppliers of enterprise and which will be included in his report to the Plenipotentiary of the President.

Recall that the tradition to meet with suppliers in the presence of officials, who are representing the federal structure of government, appeared at AvtoVAZ on October 30th, 2014. Then there was a conflict between the parties that was resolved only with the participation of authorized representative in the Volga Federal District, Mikhail Babich. It was decided that in order to defuse tensions and misunderstandings the meeting of the company's management with suppliers will take place on a regular basis for six months, until their usefulness does not disappear.

On April 7th, at the auto giant it was the next, the third, meeting in this series. "There were a number of fair comments and suggestions, including the modification of spare parts for various models. In order to realize them – we have everything”, - commented the results of meeting Mr. Chaban. He also confirmed that AvtoVAZ will continue to be under the scrutiny of the federal government, and the government will do its best to venture to produce cars of the desired quality.

President of AvtoVAZ, Bo Inge Andersson, also praised the last meeting: "Problems that suppliers put before us in the last year - no longer exists. But the questions remained, how to improve co-ordination with our schedule, how to improve the implementation of engineering changes. Every day we compete on the market. Today we have the target to produce more LADA Kalina Cross, LADA Urban and LADA Largus Cross cars. We cannot do it without our suppliers. The next challenge is to start in time Vesta and XRAY. I’m working in the automotive industry most of my life and I know the problems - it's ok, we must bring them to discuss and decide ...”.

It was stated that the next meeting will be held with the suppliers of automotive components in a larger format: it no longer will call the delegates from the army of suppliers, and almost all managers of companies that are producing parts for AvtoVAZ cars.
