OREANDA-NEWS. April 09, 2015. Andrey Fick was born in the Krasnodar Territory in 1969. He graduated from Krasnodar Polytechnic Institute in 1993, majoring in 'engineering technologies'. He obtained the second university degree from Kuban State Technological University in 2000, majoring in 'cryoengineering'. He has an MBA degree and a PhD degree in Engineering.

He has been a member of Gazprom team since 1996.

From 1999 to 2000 – compressor operator at a gas compressor station, supervisor of the process control system at the Kushchevskaya Underground Gas Storage, Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar.

From 2000 to 2001 – Engineer of Construction Division for the Beregovaya compressor station (CS) at the Administration of the Russia – Turkey gas pipeline (under construction), Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar.

From 2001 to 2002 – Deputy Director – Head of Construction Division for the Beregovaya CS and the Blue Stream offshore section at the Administration of the Russia – Turkey gas pipeline (under construction), Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar.

From 2002 to 2007 – Head of the Beregovoye Line Pipe Operation Center at Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar.

From 2007 to 2013 – Deputy Director General for Repair and Capital Construction at Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar.

From 2013 to 2015 – Technical Director at South Stream Transport B.V.

Background

Gazprom Russkaya, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom, was created with a purpose to construct an offshore gas pipeline from Russia to Turkey via the Black Sea.
