OREANDA-NEWS. In 2014 in Russia on car insurance it was spent 368.8 billion Rubles. It is more by 6% than in 2013 (348 billion Rubles), according to a monthly review of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT".

In this case, the costs of all vehicle owners for CTP were 150.3 billion Rubles (+ 11.2% from 2013). Total it was signed 42.6 million contracts, and the average size of insurance was 3,528 rubles. At the same time CASCO contracts per a year were concluded significantly less - 5.2 million units. But, due to the high average value of the contract (41 929 rubles), the Hull market was almost one and a half times more than the CTP - 218.5 billion Rubles (+ 3% from 2013).

According to the director of the agency "AUTOSTAT", Sergey Tselikov, in 2015 the total volume of the market CTP + Hull could increase by about 15-20%, which is, first of all, due to an increase in tariffs. At the same time, due to the increased number of contracts CTP, the parc should grow by 2-3%. But the number of Hull contracts, according to Mr.Tselikov, in 2015 may decrease. Firstly, the reduced sales of new cars, second, it is reduced the share of credit sales (100% of which must be insured), and thirdly, not all car owners can afford now the substantially increased insurance rates.
