OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2015. Last season began with a Toyota one-two at Silverstone, setting the tone for an impressive year which brought five wins from eight races and established the TS040 Hybrid as the best performing car in the new era of energy-efficient regulations.

With updated cars from all three LMP1 manufacturers, the new season promises to be more competitive than ever, with fans anticipating an unpredictable fight between Toyota, Audi and Porsche.

The opening race of 2015 sees Anthony Davidson and S?bastien Buemi defending their drivers' World Championship, alongside new team-mate Kazuki Nakajima, in the #1 TS040 Hybrid.

Anthony and S?bastien will also be aiming to retain the historic Royal Automobile Club International Tourist Trophy, first awarded in 1905 and previously presented to motorsport greats such as Tazio Nuvolari, Stirling Moss and Graham Hill.
