OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2015. Alexander Evseev, Chief Power Engineer - Head of the Energy Department of JSC TATNEFT n.a. V.D. Shashin has been awarded the honorary title "Honored Power Engineer of Russia" for services in the field of energy and many years of conscientious work.

Vladimir Putin, Russian President, signed Decree No. 171 "On conferring state awards of the Russian Federation” on April 4, 2015. There are four residents of Tatarstan among the distinguished honorary title recipients.

The title "Honored Power Engineer of the Russian Federation" is assigned to highly skilled professionals of the energy complex organizations for personal merits: in engineering design, construction, commissioning of new high-tech and reconstruction of existing energy facilities; in the design, creation and implementation of new types of power generating facilities that allow reducing consumption of natural (non-renewable) resources and reducing emissions of toxic compounds into the environment from energy generation, as well as application of alternative (renewable) and clean fuel; and in training of qualified personnel for the energy industry.
