OREANDA-NEWS. ABS ZEIM Automation features its product range at the 8th specialized exhibition "Oil & Gas. New Technologies in Far North", which opened doors today in Novy Urengoy.

During two days our specialists will demonstrate novelties within oil & gas industry, such as new-generation intellectual electrical drives, single-turn and multi-turn, with intellectual controllers.

Commenting on the results of the first exhibition day, Alexander Laskus, Head of Drives and Accessories Department, said: "For the first time we feature our equipment in this region and we are sole manufacturers of drives at the exhibition. It turned out that attendees were not aware of domestic alternatives to foreign drives, thus, they focused on our products. Representatives from Gazprom Dobycha Urengoy, Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg, RN-Purneftegaz, Transneft, Gazprom Pererabotka observed our production line and showed much interest in intellectual drives with integrated control units. On the first day we featured our solutions to local oil & gas companies, and tomorrow delegation from ROSPAN INTERNATIONAL intends to observe our equipment in order to replace foreign drives used in current investment project with custom-made drives".

Nearly 100 oil & gas companies from various national regions participate in the exhibition. Not only this event in Novy Urengoy allows companies to demonstrate new solutions and to feature their production lines in the market of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, a rapidly developing area, but also to establish mutually beneficial partnership within import substitution policy.
