Ferry complex will be built In the Caspian sea
OREANDA-NEWS. As a part of the new economic policy "Nurly zhol" in the port of Kuryk on the Caspian Sea will be built ferry complex.
On October 1, 2014 Head of State launched the construction of the railway line Borzhakty - Ersai towards the future ferry complex, which is currently being under construction. Railway line with the ferry service will enhance the transit potential of Kazakhstan to the west through the ports on the Caspian Sea.
- In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev becoming Kazakhstan a transit and logistics hub in the framework of solving the problem on global infrastructure integration, JSC "NC" KTZ " at the forced rates solves problems of development of transport and logistics system of the country.
With the commissioning of the railway line Arkalyk-Shubarkol, Zhezkazgan-Beineu, the development of SEZ "Khorgos-Eastern Gate" are created new supply chain transportation of goods from China through Kazakhstan to Europe, Iran and the Gulf countries that require appropriate transport infrastructure development of the Caspian region, - said the head of KTZ Askar Mamin.
Ferry complex Kuryk will provide transportation without unloading the goods from cars to neighboring countries in the Caspian region.
The ceremony on the occasion of the launch of the project was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, president of JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy "Askar Mamin, the mayor of Mangistau region Alik Aidarbayev.
