OREANDA-NEWS. In the first quarter of 2015 the conveyor of GM-AVTOVAZ assembled 8847 cars – it is less by 28% than the previous year (12,290 units). As the press service of the joint venture informed, during the reporting period GM-AvtoVAZ sold to dealers 8938 Chevrolet Niva cars (-27,4%), including export deliveries to CIS countries that were 652 cars (-35.7%).

Since the beginning of the work GM-AVTOVAZ sold 580,790 vehicles, including exported 42,978 cars. To date, sales of Chevrolet Niva are implemented by 157 dealers in Russia, 8 dealers and 3 distributors in CIS countries.

Recall from the beginning of this year, GM-AvtoVAZ increased three times the price of cars Chevrolet Niva. So, from January 1st, 2015 rise of the price of model was 20 thousand rubles for all versions, from February 1 - 20-23 thousand rubles, depending on configuration, from March 1 - 10 thousand rubles for all versions. Higher prices for cars in the GM-AvtoVAZ are explained by the rising costs of components and external factors. Currently, the price of cars Chevrolet Niva L is 519,000 rubles, LC - 550 000 rubles, LE-conditioned - 580,000 rubles, GLS - 592000 rubles, GLC - 619,000 rubles.
