Braskem's La Porte unit shuts

OREANDA-NEWS. Braskem reported its C-line facility at its La Porte, Texas, polypropylene plant shut yesterday after a valve became plugged, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

The event resulted in flaring of ethylene, propane and propylene.
