OREANDA-NEWS. Today NAB was profiled in the Australian Financial Review for its success in creating effective co-working spaces for its small business and community customers.

Quoting figures from research company IDC, the newspaper reported that the total number of mobile workers in the world is expected to reach 1.3 billion.

The Village, NAB’s co-working community hub, is available to NAB’s small business customers for free.

Offering the flexible, user-friendly space is part of a broader strategy for NAB to give small business customers more than just banking services. The Village currently has 1400 community and small business members.

NAB Small Business customer Adam Marks, Founder and Winemaker, Bress, said, “It’s a good space for me. I come in and find that [concentration] zone and off we go [working].”

The article looks at how businesses can benefit from working alongside different businesses, including how Adam Marks is now producing a coffee-table book about his winery with the help of an independent editor he met in the Village.

The Village is located at 700 Bourke St Melbourne.
