OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", in January-February 2015 the weighted average price of a new car in Russia was 1,147,658 rubles. This is more by 14.7% than in 2014 (1,000,873 rubles). The average cost of cars in 2015 increased by 16.3% to 1,300,782 rubles, and the average price of Russian cars increased by 7.7% to 470,021 rubles.

According to the director of the agency "AUTOSTAT", Sergey Tselikov, the change range of average prices by brands is quite wide and it reaches up to 40%. But there are brands, by which it is recorded the decrease in average price, associated with the change in the structure of sales in favor of cheaper models.

According to Sergei Tselikov, in the coming months, the growth of average price of the car will continue, and for the whole year it is expected the increase by about 25-30%. It is due to the increase in exchange rates and a planned increase in the pries of cars. Though, the structure of the market, according to him, will change gradually towards the cheaper models and versions of vehicles.
