OREANDA-NEWS. Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. will open the Tokyo Gas Hanoi Office and the Tokyo Gas Jakarta Office in April this year.

Tokyo Gas established Tokyo Gas Asia Pte. Ltd. in December 2014 as a regional headquarters for business and investment activities in the Southeast Asian region in order to accelerate global business development which is one of the main policies for FY2015-2017 toward realizing the Tokyo Gas Group's long-term vision, Challenge 2020 Vision. Tokyo Gas then established representative offices in Hanoi, Vietnam and Jakarta, Indonesia on February 11 and March 10, respectively, to swiftly examine the construction of infrastructure and new business projects in both Vietnam and Indonesia.

The company also plans to establish a representative office in Bangkok, Thailand within 2015.

Tokyo Gas will continue to utilize the Tokyo Gas Group's technologies and know-how for the total energy business to contribute to building energy infrastructure and providing energy solutions to factories and commercial facilities in Southeast Asian nations, and to develop the value chain from energy receipt through supply by making alliances with local energy companies.
