OREANDA-NEWS.JSC TATNEFT hosted a conference of inventors and innovators, which summarized results of 2014. Welcoming the participants of the forum Vladimir Fadeev, Head of the JSC TATNEFT’s Production Department, pointed out the high significance of technical creativity of the employees in the Company's operations, as well as the need for more active involvement of the young people in the work.

According to the results of the Republican contest “For the best arrangement of invention, rationalization and patent-licensing activities among enterprises, organizations and institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2014" JSC TATNEFT for the 12th time in a row awarded the title "Best Enterprise in invention and rationalization of the Republic of Tatarstan". L.G. Gaysin, Chairman of the Society of Inventors and Innovators of the Republic of Tatarstan, presented a Large Cup, Society Diploma, as well as the Diploma of Merit of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Company.

10,017 innovators and inventors put into production 15,721innovations, inventions and utility models in 2014 with the estimated  economic effect amounting to 9 billion 138 million rubles, including 8 billion 394 million rubles resulting from the use of the inventions and utility models with the growth versus 2013 amounting to 61%. 233 applications for alleged inventions and utility models had been sent to the Federal Institute of Industrial Property and 288 documents of title had been obtained, including 243 patents for inventions. The number of patents used in production rose from 598 in 2013 to 673 in 2014.

Awarding of the best Company’s structural divisions and employees took place in the course of the event. By the year results in the field of invention and innovation activities the first place in the first subgroup was awarded to NGDU "Almetyevneft", the second place  was awarded to NGDU "Yamashneft" and the third place - to NGDU "Elkhovneft". The best results in the second subgroup were achieved by the Bugulminsky Mechanical Plant (BMZ), the second place went to the Engineering Center and the third place was awarded to "Tatneftegazpererabotka" Administration. TatNIPIneft R&D Institute was recognized the best division in the patent work.

NGDU "Almetyevneft" and the Bugulminsky Mechanical Plant and were awarded a small cup of the Republican Society of Inventors and Innovators for achievements in the innovative activities. 

25 innovators of the Company were awarded distinction badges "Excellence in invention and rationalization in 2014".
