OREANDA-NEWS. The support of the car market by the state has paramount importance in the current market conditions. A number of measures, included in the anti-crisis plan, approved by the Government in January of 2015, support directly the automotive industry. Others will affect the auto industry and support it indirectly. In particular, it will be made by such a measure as the reduction of tension in the labor market and the usage of up to 52 billion Rubles of federal funds to retrain staff on employment programs.

"During the discussion in the State Duma, we agreed that the plan will be refined and adjusted to reflect the current situation”, - said in her speech the Chairman of the Expert Council under the State Duma Committee on Industry for innovative development of the automotive industry and machinery, Alfiya Kogogina, at the Russian Automotive Forum. - What was not included in the anti-crisis plan, and what will we promote this year? Quite a lot - 23 measures were presented by me as the Chairman of the Expert Council of the government, and I think many of them will be able to be implemented this year...".

Some of them do not even require funds - such as the provision of preferential treatment in procurement by public companies, state-owned companies, state corporations, vehicles, produced in Russia. And foreign manufacturers, who have organized their productions here and Russian manufacturers by WTO rules, so they have to get also these preferences.

Among the proposed measures by the Expert Council – there is implementation of government contracts in the amount of 5.5 billion rubles. "Such a measure is to be reinforced by public order - from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Social Affairs, and Ministry of Internal Affairs: it is necessary to give them money that they have implemented public demand for fleet renewal. We are talking about the need to subsidize and upgrade equipment of agricultural profile, fleet renewal of municipal engineering. While it was not be confirmed by funding, but no one for whatever reasons does not refuse the implementation of these measures, so I still have some understanding that we will promote them gradually”, - says Mrs. Kogogina
