OREANDA-NEWS. IBEX Global Solutions plc, a leading provider of contact centre services and other business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, announces the strengthening of its executive leadership team through the appointment of two key executives.

Gilbert Santa Maria has joined IBEX as Chief Operating Officer, a newly created leadership position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.  Gilbert will be responsible for managing IBEX's global operations organization, which consists of 19 service delivery centres in the US, Philippines, Pakistan, the United Kingdom and Senegal.   Most recently, Gilbert was COO of IQ BackOffice Inc, which is a Los Angeles-based provider of outsourced finance, accounting and HR services and part of LiveIT Investments, a leading company in the BPO industry.  Gilbert also brings leadership experience gained at eTelecare (which later became part of Stream Global Services) where he led important parts of the organization in the operations, client services and corporate development areas. Gilbert has an MBA from Yale University's School of Management.  

Eric Owen has also joined IBEX as Executive Vice President, Client Services, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.  Eric is responsible for ensuring service delivery excellence to IBEX's key enterprise-level customers and will oversee IBEX's client services team.  Eric has had over 20 years of leadership experience in the contact centre services industry, with leadership positions most recently at Convergys Corporation and Stream Global Services.
