OREANDA-NEWS. Chevron Phillips Chemical began restart activities at its No. 33 ethylene unit at its Sweeny, Texas complex today following a week-long shutdown caused by a propylene compressor trip, according to a filing with state regulators.

Start-up activities are expected to extend through noon on Monday and may result in emissions of butadiene, benzene, ethylene, propylene and other materials.
