Autostat.jpgOREANDA-NEWS. The market for new cars in Russia in 2015 could exceed 1.8 million cars. So say 18% of the experts-participators of contest "On the most accurate forecast of the car market" – the competition, held annually by the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" and the results of which once again will be announced in February-March 2016. Members – specialists that are working in the field of marketing and sales companies, automobile business (production, sales, after-sales service). Analysis of the questionnaires of participants, submitted to the contest, shows that the remaining votes were distributed between the middle and pessimistic variant exactly by half: 41% believe that the car market of passenger cars in 2015 will be within 1.5 -1.8 million units, the other 41% are confident that it will fall below 1.5 million units.

Since 2014 the competition is hold separately for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and trucks. Accordingly, to date, the experts made a preliminary consolidated forecast for LCV and HCV. By LCV it will be sold over 100 thousand cars - so 20% of participants consider. Supporters of the average forecast (65%) believe the most likely scenario, in which it will be sold from 100 to 80 thousand LCV. According to the pessimists, the key figures of sales of light commercial vehicles will not exceed 80 thousand units. Some participants predicted the sales fall in this segment up to 65.6 thousand units.

By the truck market (HCV + CV) the preliminary forecast is as follows: 11.8% sure that this segment is kept in the range of over 70,000 sold vehicles. Most of the participants of the competition (70.6%) believe that the sale will be in the range from 40 to 70 thousand units. The fall in this segment up to 40 thousand units (Minimum - up to 32 thousand units) is predicted by 17.6%.
