OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ dealer in Germany is in a hurry to sell stocks of Lada cars before the introduction of new environmental standards in September. The company offered to buyers of Lada Kalina estate car (Lada 2194) a discount of 2.5 thousand euros - the price of the model was reduced to 6,950 euros (about 452 thousand rubles).

According to "Za rulem.RF", Lada cars, shipped to the German market, meet environmental standards Euro-5, and from the beginning of autumn it will be in force a more rigorous standard of Euro 6 in the country. At the same time in the Russian market Lada passes only Ecostandard requirements of Euro-4. 

According to the magazine Autobild, Lada after the price reduction will be able to press the main competitor in the German market - Dacia Sandero model of friendly alliance Renault-Nissan. The representative of the Lada in Germany said that AvtoVAZ plans to develop supplies to the European markets. AvtoVAZ also promotes German model Lada 4 ? 4 (in the German market it is sold as Lada Taiga 4 ? 4) and Lada Granta. European dealer does not rule out the decrease of prices on these models. According to experts, in Germany the last year it was sold several hundred new Lada cars, since the beginning of this year, the plant does not supply cars to Europe. Thus, the discounts are offered on last year's models.

As previously reported, the supply of Lada cars in Europe has not carried out yet, and it may resume only in May due to improvements of Lada to new technical regulations, resulting in the mandatory installation of tire pressure sensors in the base configuration and finishing to European standards for clean exhaust. AvtoVAZ plans in 2015 to increase the supply of vehicles for export almost twice, to 100 thousand cars, but mostly the shipment will go to the markets of the CIS countries.
