Shvabe Released an Innovative Adjustable Amplification Sight
OREANDA-NEWS. When creating their new adjustable amplification sight Shvabe Holding scientists applied a number of engineering and design innovations. When the model entered serial production it had already received orders from a number of professional communities in the field of practical shooting.
The use of this device will help professional shooters to significantly increase the speed of aiming due to a complex of innovative solutions, including: an increased rate of light transmission achieved due to the use of multilayer antireflective coatings with residual reflection less than 0.25%; internal implementation of verification mechanisms; the use of optical components laser microprocessing technology; a combined aiming grid with central aiming mark backlight for quick and convenient aiming and operation during twilight; high tactile selectivity of the device achieved through the application of additional elaboration of controlling elements, as well as the opportunity for the consumer to place the amplification changing handle to the right or to the left of the shooter.
According to the opinion of the developers, specialists of Shvabe Holding enterprise Shvabe - Defence and Protection JSC, this is one of the most advanced changeable amplification sights among internationally known analogs. As with similar models, the device is intended for terrain observation, detection and recognition of targets, and aiming using different kinds of rifled weapons having a Picatinny upper fitting rail.
"The use of the innovative optical components laser microprocessing technology allowed us to create a combined aiming grid with a complex topology, i.e. different stroke depth and width in the sight field of vision, which combines a broad spectrum of aiming elements. The backlight of the central aiming mark positively influences the speed of calibration and provides advantages when the device is used during twilight. In addition, the new product is significantly lighter than one of the most popular sights released by the enterprise, which is of great importance for weapon optical devices used in manual mode without any support," commented the CEO of Shvabe - Defence and Protection Vasily Rassokhin.
The sight will be presented to the professional community for the first time at the exhibition "Integrated security 2015", which will take place this spring in Moscow.
