OREANDA-NEWS. Fujitsu has announced its support for Sysmex Corporation, a company that specializes in developing in-vitro diagnostics equipment, by providing its engineering cloud for modern manufacturing environments, the FUJITSU Manufacturing Industry Solution FTCP Remote Desktop, as well as 58 units of the FUJITSU Workstation CELSIUS C620.

The FTCP Remote Desktop provides centralized management for large amounts of design data and applications. Using RVEC, the world's leading high speed thin client technology for displaying 3D CAD software and other digital images on client terminals, the FTCP Remote Desktop allows designers to comfortably and remotely manage massive quantities of data.

Sysmex plans on consolidating the CELSIUS C620 equipped with a high speed graphics card into their main server, on top of which they will run the FTCP Remote Desktop. This will allow them to cut the time it takes to open 3D CAD data at remote locations from five minutes to one, and improve the response speed of 3D CAD software. In addition, they will be able to smoothly share screens among designers at multiple locations while maintaining a secure environment, as no data is left behind in client terminals.

Going forward, as plans are for Sysmex to further expand the number of people using the system, Fujitsu will simplify main server access, such as by providing enhanced functionality for browsing and approval of designs from smart devices, and support innovative work styles for Sysmex's design and development.
