OREANDA-NEWS. The two Belorusneft frac fleets acquired new specialized machinery and equipment.

The retrofitting of hydrochloric acid and hydraulic fracturing complexes started only at the end of last year. First of all, this will enable the fleets of performing high-volume fracturing well operations using large amounts of proppants and chemicals. For these purposes, 6 additional new BP-45 vertical proppant silos, the same number of new vertical gel tanks BG-60, and a new UN-25 pumping station were purchased. A monitoring and control station (SKU-2) and a US-600 mixing plant were purchased separately for hydraulic & acid frac Fleet No.1. But this is not the end of fleet upgrading: additional equipment is expected to arrive in the middle of this year. After that, it will undergo integrated testing during large-volume frac jobs.

Fleet upgrading will be done to keep up with the demand for hydraulic fracturing equipment and technology in the foreign projects, primarily in Russia. Last year alone, nearly 60 jobs were done by the Belarusian experts in the Russian fields.
