Since May 25th of this year, Ford plant in Vsevolozhsk can go to the mode of operation for three days a week, reports "Interfax", citing a source in the enterprise. According to the union representative, information on the possible transition to a three-day operation of the plant was announced by the administration of trade union members, but it was not announced en masse to the workers. Nevertheless, according to a source at the plant there is already a corresponding order. In addition, the Nissan plant in St. Petersburg plans to stop the production from March 16th to 31st, 2015, the head of the Organization Department of interregional trade union "Working association", Peter Prinev, informed the agency "Interfax". The press service of the Russian division of Nissan has not confirmed the date of downtime, but it was noted that "in order to minimize costs from February the plant switched to lower productivity, and therefore the company may suspend the production in the near future”.
