OREANDA-NEWS. Production Department Belorusneft-Mozyrneftepostavka celebrated its 40th anniversary.

One of the leading logistics divisions of Belorusneft petroleum products sales network, it was established in 1975 as a bulk fuel station for fuel supply from Mozyr refinery, which was opened at the same time. In this status, it had performed its functions for 13 years, before being reorganized into Mozyr company for supply of petroleum products. The organization received its present name 10 years ago, after it had become part of Belorusneft Association as a separate division.

Now, the Department's activities are focused mainly on provision of services for petroleum products delivery via railway, road, river and pipeline transport. Over the past year, Belorusneft-Mozyrneftepostavka shipped around 2.5 million tons of fuel to its customers. Through Mozyr enterprise, petroleum products are delivered to customers inBelarusand neighboring countries - the Baltic states,UkraineandMoldova. By the way, more than 70% of Department's services is provided to the external customers, including the Belarusian subsidiary of the Russian LUKOIL oil company.

The Belorusneft-Mozyrneftepostavka team will turn a new page of their history in the near future. A separate subsidiary is to be established on the basis of Mozyr and Novopolotsk Departments for supply of petroleum products.
