OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 469,4 million as of 28 February, 2015, that is by USD 140,7 million less than the index of 31 January, 2015.

The international reserve, converted in foreign currency, totaled USD 2 266,7 million, including that floated as securities - USD 1 452,8 million, as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) - USD 813,9 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totaled USD 202,8 million, while reserve position with IMF totaled USD 14,1 thousand.

Since the beginning of the year, the NBG international reserve dropped by USD 229,8 million.
