OREANDA-NEWS. For 2014 it was fired 14 462 people from "AvtoVAZ" for various reasons. In the subsidiaries in order to transfer it was laid off 391 people. By their initiative 4792 employees terminated the employment relationship, by agreement of the parties the contract with 7021 employees were terminated. Such data are contained in the report of the trade union and they were announced at the conference of the staff of the company after the management report on the implementation of the collective agreement for 2014. The head of the trade union committee, Sergei Zaitsev, also said in his report that during the reporting period trade union organization received notification about the proposed release of 6,200 but in fact only 1,026 people laid off. Employment relationships terminated with employees that were not transferred to the existing vacancies in the "AvtoVAZ". During activities to reduce the staff, the trade union control over the fact that the employer has complied with all legal requirements.

At the initiative of the employer the workers were mostly dismissed for failure to perform job duties and violation of labor discipline: it was laid off 325 workers from their jobs in the application of disciplinary action in 2014. By the way, the company noted that the total number of employees decreased by 39% for violations of labor discipline (absenteeism, visiting drunk, committing theft and so on) in compare with 2013 year.
