OREANDA-NEWS. Specialists of the holding “Titan-2” took part in the working groups activities for the construction of the Finnish Nuclear Power Station.

At the last meeting in Helsinki representatives of JSC “CONCERN TITAN-2” together with their colleagues from “Rusatom Overseas” and Fennovoima discussed the main steps in the initial phase of the project. Among other priority issues, non-nuclear permits, preparatory works for the mobilization of the construction site and hook-up of temporary utilities, etc. were discussed.

Also, the experts shared their initiatives on the project information support and joint activities in the future construction site of nuclear power stations in the cities of Pyh?joki and Oulu. A coordinated plan of actions in key areas resulted from these joint works.

During the visit, several meetings were held with the representatives of various Finnish construction companies from the region of Northern Finland, where the nuclear power station will be located. Specialists of the Holding reported to their potential subcontractors about the works on subcontracting companies selection, preparation of tender documentation and workshop seminar to be held in late March.

Currently, several offices of the holding “Titan-2” are preparing to be open in the cities of Helsinki and Pyh?joki.

The Holding “Titan-2” is the largest in the North-West group of companies, erecting the most important objects of the nuclear industry and energy. The organization performs a full range of construction and installation works from engineering to commissioning.

The Holding “Titan-2” is one of the main contractors for the construction of power units No. 1 and No. 2 of the Leningradskaya NPS-2. Main organizations of the company perform 30% of general construction and 80% of installation works on the site. Specialists of the holding are engaged on the objects of the Leningradskaya NPS-2 first and second power units. The works are being performed in the buildings of the reactor, turbine, electricity, water, heating system and other structures of power units.
