OREANDA-NEWS. National Rating Agency (NRA) has affirmed National Fire Insurance Company's 'BB' reliability rating and withdrawn it due to the company's failure to perform its obligations under the contract with NRA.

NFUC was assigned NRA's individual reliability rating of 'A-' (high,Level 3, reliability) in December 2013. In January 2015, the rating was lowered to 'BBB+' (adequate, Level 1, reliability) and placed on the Watchlist with indefinite implications. In March 2015, the rating was lowered to 'BB' (intermediate, Level 2, reliability).

According to provided statistics, the company wrote RUB1 billion in premiums and paid out RUB337 million in insurance claims in 2014.
