OREANDA-NEWS.  Following annual review by Vigeo, Legrand has been granted a renewal of its “Responsible Supplier Relations” label.

In December 2012, Legrand was one of the first four companies to be awarded this label which distinguishes French businesses that demonstrate balanced and sustainable relationships with their suppliers. The label, which is granted for a three-year period, represents a practical extension of the 10 commitments towards responsible purchases as defined by the Charter for Inter-company relations, more recently renamed Charter of Responsible Supplier Relations.

The recognition of the Group’s responsible purchasing policy which is inherent in this award further illustrates the Group’s commitment in its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) roadmap, to support 100% of its sensitive suppliers in deploying an improvement approach on environmental issues, fundamental human rights at work, and business ethics.
