OREANDA-NEWS. At Izhevsk car plant on February 28th it was held a meeting with suppliers of components Lada Vesta with the President of AvtoVAZ, Bo Andersson. The meeting was attended by over 20 representatives of suppliers of components - plastic parts, suspension parts, exhaust systems, etc. Suppliers asked topical questions on compliance of schedule of Vesta pre-production, and specifications of the new model. For his part, Bo Andersson specified the level of preparedness of components for the production.

Recall, on February 6th, 2015 at the Izhevsk car assembly plant it was launched a pilot lot of cars Lada Vesta. Production of the new Russian flagman will be on a new line, designed by the standards of the alliance Renault-Nissan - AIMS, which allows them to assemble on the same line several cars, built on different platforms. Currently, the conveyor assembly shop produces cars Nissan Sentra and Lada Granta. With the start of production of Lada Vesta, Izhevsk plant will be the only plant, which is producing on one assembly line cars, built on three platforms. Recall, the production of Lada Vesta cars starts at Izhevsk car plant on September 25, 2015.

As previously Bo Andersson reported, Izhevsk car plant will also produce a new model, called Lada C. Presumably the production of new car will be launched in Izhevsk in 2016.
