OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ is planning to continue the work in the mode of four working days during the first two weeks of March and in May it expects to enter the normal 5-day regime.

"The balance commission, which considered orders for March and operation during this month, decided to cancel the 3-day working week in the first half of March," - said the representative of KAMAZ. The signing of the relevant order is expected in the coming days. The decision about the work in the second half of March will be made later, depending on the order, informed the agency "Finmarket".

"The balance commission also decided that in May, the company will work 5 days a week, except for the first week, which is associated with the holidays and the production process," - said a company representative.

Earlier, First Deputy of General Director of KAMAZ - Executive Director, Yuri Gerasimov, said that the plant expects to keep the production of trucks in March and April at the same level as the last year - 3.3 thousand vehicles per a month, which will permit to work in the 4-day mode.

Recall that the four-day workweek mode is at KAMAZ from November 24th, 2014. In case of a fall in demand, the company has provided a three-day working week regime from March 2nd to May 24th, 2015. The company noted that in case of the improvement of the situation in the market and the formation of a sufficient number of orders it will be decided about the abolition of short working week.
