OREANDA-NEWS. Some of the workers of the commissioning department, where in March of 2014 it was begun the production of rear beam for models of the line B0 (Lada Largus, Nissan Almera, Renault Logan and Sandero), started the Italian strike - that is, they will perform their duties in name only. The leader of the independent trade union of AvtoVAZ "Unity", Peter Zolotarev, informed about it the newspaper "Izvestia", by adding that at least 60 people is working now on the commissioning of the production of the rear beam.

Shop staff have expressed the administration repeatedly their dissatisfaction with the fact that there is no performance standards in a new production line. Workers felt unfair that they overwork without adequate financial compensation. Reduction in production volume of rear beams can affect the performance of the main conveyor line B0.

Until 2014, the rear beam (suspension) for Lada Largus were supplied from the Romanian unit of Renault-Nissan, the enterprise Dacia. AvtoVAZ reported that currently estate car Lada Largus is completed exclusively by beams of its own production.

Meanwhile, the press service of AvtoVAZ denied information about the labor dispute at the company. "Production of chassis line B0 is operating normally. Information about any strike is false," - the administration of public relations at AvtoVAZ informed “Izvestia”.

Petr Zolotarev believes that the Italian strike will lead certainly to a reduction in production of the models in the line B0. However, the exact amount of the reduction, he could not name.

Earlier at AvtoVAZ it was already the Italian strike. For example, in March of 2011, 600 workers of metallurgical production for a few days were off work, and they simulated activities by delaying the work of the entire plant. Disgruntled employees asked the payment of promised bonuses.
