OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ asks government for help in three ways, the company president Bo Andersson said in an interview with "RBK-TV".

"Firstly, to continue the recycling program, because for us it is very effective," - he said, noting that every ruble spent on recycling program Lada, returned as one ruble and a half. According to him, the company in 2014 due to the recycling program was able to earn 2.9 billion Rubles, by selling 53,000 vehicles. At the same time, however, a top manager did not evaluate the effect of the program for the current year. The government has already extended the recycling program in 2015, by providing for it 10 billion Rubles, wrote the newspaper "Vedomosti".

"Secondly, we ask the subsidies to support exports," - said Bo Andersson, without specifying the details of such support. "Last year we sold 51,000 cars abroad. To date, we already have orders for 70 thousand units", - he said.

Earlier, after a meeting of anti-crisis commission the First Deputy Prime Minister, Igor Shuvalov, supported the Finance Minister Anton Siluanov in the fact that enterprises with the support of relevant ministries and agencies need to seek most actively the export opportunities in the face of declining domestic consumption. "Even under such difficult conditions like today, you must go to the new and old markets, where we have to promote the products," – Mr. Shuvalov said.

The third measure of support, which is asked by AvtoVAZ – is "to help with the sharp rise in steel prices." "We have very good Russian suppliers of steel, but, in my opinion, they behave now extremely short-sighted. We supported them, and now they say they are more profitable to sell steel abroad - because they earn more", - complained the head of AvtoVAZ.

Earlier it was reported that a number of steel producers raised the prices of their products for domestic consumers. So, because of the rise in prices of metallurgists, "GAZ Group" applied to the FAS. The automaker said the need to verify the validity of the increase in prices for metal and raw materials for the production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. the Ministry of Industry also asked FAS about the verification - to conduct "an independent review of the validity of rise in prices for steel products and raw materials for its production and profitability of steel companies and major consumers of steel”.
