OREANDA-NEWS. Kostroma Region Governor Sergey Sitnikov expressed gratitude to staff of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division for their operational work to ensure reliable power supply in municipal districts of the Kostroma region at the weekend.

On the night of December 15-16, emergency crews of power engineers were eliminating effects of bad weather. Snowstorm and squally winds hit the region in the afternoon. In Kostroma, Manturovo and Krasnoselsky district technological disturbances were eliminated for half an hour. In several localities the work continued until three o'clock in the morning.

"Our task is in any weather as quickly as possible to restore power supply to people’s houses," said First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer Evgeny Smirnov. "During adverse weather conditions all crews were on high alert. Professionalism and dedication of our employees was distinguished."
