OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ has sent one of the pilot cars Lada Vesta to Europe for testing and debugging systems ABS and ESP, which will be included as standard model.

As the newspaper "AvtoSreda" writes, the supplier of ABS and ESP for Lada Vesta is the global automotive supplier Bosch, in special landfills of which it will be tested the new model. In the first test site in the north of Sweden, 70 km from the Arctic Circle, in arctic conditions the car will pass a course of winter testing on land (about 500 hectares) and on the surface of a frozen lake (almost 300 hectares). Then Vesta will go to the landfill near the German town of Boksburg, where the ABS and ESP will be checked already in summer conditions on dry surfaces.

Lada Vesta will be tested on landfills for special purposes and on public roads in accordance with international standards. Anti-lock and traction control systems, brake force distribution along the axes of the vehicle, stability control, rolling prevent on the rise at the beginning of the movement - all processes will be evaluated carefully by the specialists.

Test in Europe – is the second of three stages. Systems must pass adaptation in winter terms where the coatings have a low coefficient of friction. The first stage, which is connected with the summer test was successfully completed. The next summer is scheduled for the third and final stage. This work is conducted in accordance with the schedule: AvtoVAZ will get all the necessary settings before the start of mass production, scheduled for September 2015.
