OREANDA-NEWS. The ceremony of awarding the winners of the XVth All-Russian contest "Engineer of the Year - 2014" took place in Moscow. The professionals of JSC TATNEFT were among the winners.

The contest held by the Russian and the International Unions of scientific and engineering public organizations with participation of the Academy of Engineering Sciences n.a. A.M. Prokhorov and the Interregional Fund for the Promotion of scientific and technical progress is a traditional event, which is a basis to form a database of the best domestic engineers.

The awards were presented by Academician Yuri Gulyaev, President of the Russian and the International Unions of Research Institutions and presidium member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Vladimir Sittsev, Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation and Vice President of the Russian and the International Unions of Research Institutions. In addition to granting awards and diplomas, the names of the contest's finalists in both versions were included in the Register of Russia Professional Engineers and placed on the board of honor in the Hall of Engineering Fame, where the awarding ceremonies are traditionally arranged.

By the results of the IInd Round the jury of the All-Russian contest bestowed a Laureate title "Engineer of the Year" in the category "Professional Engineers" with  awarding of diplomas, certificates, signs and commemorative medals to Roman Osipov (NGDU "Almetyevneft"), Ruslan Absalyamov (NGDU "Almetyevneft"), Radik Khalimov (NGDU "Aznakaevskneft"), Muktasim Akhmetzyanov (NGDU "Nurlatneft"), Khalil Gafiyatullin (NGDU "Prikamneft"), Rustem Saetgaraev (NGDU "Yamashneft"), Vladimir Lieberman (TGRU), Gabdrashit Abdrakhmanov (TatNIPIneft) and Ramzis Kadyrov (TatNIPIneft).
According to the results of the I-st round of the contest in the category "Professional Engineers" the titles "Professional Engineer of Russia" with  corresponding certificates and badges were awarded to Ruslan Akhmetov (NGDU "Almetyevneft"), Rasim Khanipov (NGDU "Aznakaevskneft"), Rustem Khannanov (NGDU "Bavlyneft"), Rasykh Sadykov (NGDU "Leninogorskneft") and Rafis Gilyazov (Engineering Center of JSC TATNEFT).

Laureate titles of the All-Russian contest "Engineer of the Year" in the nomination "Engineering Skills of the Young" were presented to Radik Galimov (NGDU "Leninogorskneft") and Salavat Fatkhullin (NGDU "Yamashneft").

The objectives of the contest include promoting experience and achievements of the best professionals and drawing attention to the problems of the quality of the engineering staff in Russia, increasing the attractiveness of work and professionalism of engineering workers, as well as stimulating young people interest in engineering.

The contest participants are people, who have a higher education in engineering and a high level of knowledge. Their age, position, academic titles and degrees do not matter, it is only important to have the results of scientific research and engineering developments in accordance with modern requirements.
