OREANDA-NEWS. In the course of the exhibition IDEX-2015 in Abu Dhabi, President Petro Poroshenko has talked to the representatives of the Ukrainian Diaspora near the Ukrainian stand.

The President has thanked the Ukrainian Diaspora in the UAE for the financial support of the Ukrainian army. "Your activity is an example for every Ukrainian who lives abroad of how not to lose ties with Ukraine. You feel that it is our common business: make everything for Ukraine to win," Petro Poroshenko noted.

The night vision devices and clothing have been purchased and sent to the Ukrainian troops from the UAE with the support of the Ukrainian Diaspora.

In the course of the meeting, one of the activists Yuriy Starushok, who has been living in the UAE for more than 10 years already, has addressed the President with a request to help him get in the army, for he wants to fight for Ukraine.

The representatives of the Diaspora have presented a T-shirt with symbols of Ukraine and UAE to the President.
