OREANDA-NEWS. VNIIR specialists shipped relay protection and automation cubicles to a large substation in Moscow - a component of Moscow energy ring.

In mid December VNIIR shipped 12 custom-made cubicles for 500 kV Noginsk Substation, FGC UES subsidiary.

Moscow energy ring comprises HV transmission lines (500 kV) and large substations located both in Moscow and in Moscow Oblast. These substations are designed to reduce voltage from 500 kV to 220-110 kV and to transfer it to small distribution substations.
