Nordecon Presents New Nine-Storey Meerhof Residence in Pirita
OREANDA-NEWS. Nordecon has just finished constructing a nine-storey apartment building called the Meerhof Residence at Pirita tee 26 in Tallinn. The architectural solution is luxurious, thus creating an aesthetically pleasing landmark in the seaside area.
"The year-long effort of the constructor has yielded an excellent result - the Meerhof Residence is a beautiful building whose design is not only eye-catching on the outside but also boasts a luxurious interior planning and clever technical solutions," said Erkki Suurorg, a board member of Nordecon AS. "A magnificent view and a well thought-out placement of the apartments are sure to bring joy to every apartment owner."
The Meerhof Residence is situated in the vicinity of Lillepaviljon (The Floral Pavilion) in the midst of a green area of great dendrological value. Three sides of the building feature balconies in the shape of a continuous wave, which dominate the building's appearance. The white concrete balconies are supported by cantilever reinforced concrete elements.
The nine-storey apartment building has one staircase and interior corridors for accessing all the apartments. A well thought-out layout ensures a great view on the sea from all the apartments. Every floor accommodates 10 apartments that are larger and more spacious than average medium-sized apartments. The foyer and auxiliary rooms are located on the ground floor. Garage parking for 100 vehicles is situated underground.
The developer of the Meerhof Residence is Metro Capital OÜ. The architects of the building are Henno Sillaste and Sander Aas from the architectural bureau Asum Arhitektid. The construction of the building started in the summer of 2013 and was completed within a year and a half. The cost of the construction agreement amounted to 10 million euros (not including VAT).
