OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2015. Turkish assets slipped on Monday after talks between Greece and its European partners over the country's debt crisis collapsed, stoking doubts about Greece's future in the euro zone.

The Turkish central bank kept daily liquidity tight, but the lira weakened to 2.4518 by 0948 GMT from 2.4470 on Monday.

Turkey's main share index fell 0.78 percent to 86,040.54 points, lagging behind the broader emerging markets index, which slipped 0.09 percent.

The benchmark 10-year government bond yield rose slightly to 7.69 percent from 7.62 percent at Monday's close.
