OREANDA-NEWS. 16 foreign delegations paid a visit to VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation in the first month of this year. Visitors from Germany, Czechia, Israel, UK, Italy, Poland and Japan visited Verkhnaya Salda.

The foreign representatives arrived to discuss current issues of implementing contracts earlier signed and specifying new ones.

Representatives of German Buderus Edelstahl discussed arrangement of forging deliveries with the Corporation managers. Israeli specialists from ScanMaster Systems LTD and their St-Petersburg colleagues visited Shops 22, 23, and 16 in order to familiarize with operation of ultrasonic test system.

Majority of foreigners was involved in equipment commissioning and start-up. Czech ALTA representatives assembled machines in Shop 40 for 10 days and now they are busy with the same work in Shop 2 and are staying in the Urals until the mid of April.

Shop 32 vacuum system commissioning was carried out by specialists of German GERTNER and Russian AMEKA GROUP. Technical specialists from SMS Meer (Germany) were engaged in 4,000 Press setting. Alfred Josef Winkler from Löcher Industrieofen und Apparatebau GmbH arrived in January to supervise commissioning and start-up of chamber heating furnaces in Shop 22. Assembly of furnaces in forging shops was supervised by Beyer Ulrich Ronny from German Wheelabrator.

The most numerous delegation was from Japan. Six top managers headed by Makino Director and Interactive Corporation Vice President discussed commercial and technical issues of supply of equipment for machining titanium forged products to VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation.
