OREANDA-NEWS.  Kazakhstan is a priority market for export of AvtoVAZ, said the company president, Bo Andersson.

"In the market of Kazakhstan our share is 33% now, and we intend to strengthen this position. We also plan to increase the supply of cars in Belarus ", - said the head of AvtoVAZ, who is cited by "Gazeta.Ru". He also noted that the company is interested in supplying its products in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. According to Bo Andersson, Lada cars fully comply with the technical standards of Latin American countries.

Bo Andersson believes that one of the possible directions of export is Eastern Europe. "We are also ready to offer cars Niva, Granta and Kalina: they have proven good quality and reasonable price", - he said.

Despite the fact that the Western European market is not the main thing for AvtoVAZ, the company does not intend to abandon it completely. "Currently, we bring our cars in line with European requirements. And on May 1st, we will be able to deliver them to Europe”, - said the president of AvtoVAZ. At the same time, he said, AvtoVAZ has cars that are focused only on the Russian market, including Lada Vesta, which "aims to restore the confidence of domestic consumers."

As previously reported the agency "AUTOSTAT" in the press center of AvtoVAZ, in 2015, the plant has set a strategic goal to export 100,000 Lada cars. In the last year it was exported 51,791 Lada cars (-34,1%). "The decline of exports was due to a decrease in supply to Ukraine; decreased sales to Kazakhstan, on the one hand, due to the cessation of production of family car Lada Samara, and reorientation of client demand for more expensive brands - on the another hand", - explained in the press center of AvtoVAZ. The largest share in total exports of AvtoVAZ in 2014 was occupied by family cars Lada Priora, due to the high demand for this model in Kazakhstan, which is the largest export market for AvtoVAZ. The main countries that buy cars Lada, also became Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine, Egypt and others.
