OREANDA-NEWS. St. Petersburg Hyundai plant exported 25,700 cars (-1.1%) in 2014, which was 11% of total production. The largest export market for the company is still Kazakhstan, where it was delivered 21,900 vehicles (+ 80.3%). Then Azerbaijan and Belarus follow by the volume of exports.

"At the moment, "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus" analyzes carefully the situation in their traditional export markets (it is, first of all, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus), and it is exploring the possibility of expanding the geography of export of cars. The decision on further expansion of the zone exports depends not only on the Russian plant, but also on the global interests of the company," - the Head of Public Relations "HMMR", Maria Maltseva informed the agency "AUTOSTAT".

Recall that at the end of 2014 the St. Petersburg plant Hyundai produced 237,000 vehicles, which is more by 3.3% compared to a year ago. According to the company, stable operation of the plant in three shifts and an increase in production volumes for the year became possible due to the efficient use of production capacity and strong demand for manufactured cars - Hyundai Solaris and Kia Rio are the best-selling cars among foreign ones in Russia.
