Aeroflot Confirmed ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Certificate
Aeroflot Quality Management System was for the first time certified in December 2007 and in 2014 Aeroflot was the first Russian airline to pass the combined audit for compliance with two standards at once — Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems, which demonstrates the integration of the QMS with company’s overall management and the commitment to the sustainable development concept, ecological balance and social responsibility towards its employees and the citizens of our country.
During the inspection at Aeroflot in February 2-6, 2015 auditors visited key structural divisions of the Airline responsible for the quality of the product and customer service, ground support, flight safety, staff training, aircraft maintenance, environmental and labor protection — 20 divisions in total.
No inconsistencies were identified during audit. Recommendations for the possible improvements of the integrated management system which would be considered in the future airline performance were made.
At the final briefing TUV SUD auditors highly praised Aeroflot’s efforts and thanked the management and the staff of the Company for the good preparation, transparency and promptness in the provision of the requested information and documents, and also noted that the integrated management system of the airline is mature, productive and activities and processes within this system are continuously improving.
According to the results of the supervisory audit Aeroflot’s integrated management system meets the international standards IS0 9001 and ISO 14001.
The next stage of the supervisory audit is scheduled for February 2016.
