OREANDA-NEWS. JSC Machinostroitelny Zavod has been certified within the certification of ROSATOM’s Fuel Company TVEL for compliance with the international standard ISO 50001:2011 Energy management systems – Requirements with guidance for use.
 
The certificate has been issued by a reputable certification authority T?V CERT (Germany).
 
The purpose of the standard ISO 50001 is to provide the companies with a well-structured and comprehensive guidance to optimize the consumption of energy resources and management of this processes on the systematic basis. The standard was developed to integrate a generally acceptable pattern for effective consumption of energy resources into the management practices. It is targeted at assistance to the organizations in effective use of the available energy-consuming assets, establishment of transparence in the management of energy resources, promotion of the best energy management practices and support to capabilities for assessment and prioritization to implementation of new energy-saving technologies.
