OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2015. AvtoVAZ began sales of sedan Lada Granta with 5-speed robotized gearbox. The price of Granta AMT is 401,300 rubles for "norma" and 454,600 rubles - for the "luxury".

According to CARscope.ru, the “robot" is installed on Lada Granta with a 1.6-liter, 16-valve, engine, which is producing 106 HP.  The standard equipment of such modification includes ABS, driver airbag, daytime running lights, mounting Isofix, air conditioning, front electric windows, audio package, central locking, electric power steering. In the version of "luxury" it will be the alarm, front passenger airbag, folding rear row segment, climate control, cruise control, rain sensor, heated front seats, rear electric windows, parking sensors, and other options.

Following sedan Lada Granta, the robotized transmission will be installed by AvtoVAZ on liftback, which should appear on sale in March, and in the summer - on the family Lada Kalina, the project manager Kalina/Granta, Oleg Grunenkov, informed the publication "AvtoSreda". In addition, AvtoVAZ decided to equip the promising models with same transmission - Lada Vesta and Lada Xray. Recall Lada Priora received the first AMT the autumn of the last year, which with a "robot" costs from 465,000 rubles.

AMT for Lada is based on the series manual gearbox. Together with the German company ZF it was installed actuators of switching speeds and cutoffs of coupling on gearbox, it was developed advanced software. Robotized transmission allows you to move as in fully automatic, so in manual modes.
