OREANDA-NEWS. At an enlarged meeting of the Government of Ukraine on Wednesday, February 11, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk called on the heads of the regional state administrations to take control of the issue of illegal inspections of small and medium enterprises and the Internal Ministry of Ukraine - to initiate proceedings by complaints against illegal inspections.

He has noted that there are cases of a breach of the law passed by the Parliament on the ban on inspections for small and medium businesses at the local level, "The law says that inspections of small business are banned for two years, for all businesses - in the first half of this year."

"It is about unscrupulousness, rudeness and breach of the law on prohibition of inspections at the local level," Arseniy Yatsenyuk emphasized.

The Prime Minister appealed to the heads of the regional state administrations to take the matter under control.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk called on entrepreneurs: "They [inspectors] do not come to improve the economy, they come for a bribe. Kick them out."

The Prime Minister appealed to Interior Minister Arsen Avakov to initiate proceedings by complaints against illegal inspections: "There are hotlines at regional departments of the Interior Ministry. If only a complaint – initiate a proceeding."

The enlarged meeting of the Government of Ukraine has been attended by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroysman, the heads of the regional state administrations.
