Aviation Equipment Expanding Cooperation With China
OREANDA-NEWS. The Aviation Equipment Holding Company will participate in development of systems for a joint Russian-Chinese wide-body airliner project. The Group will create 10 systems and assemblies, and has already prepared proposals for some of them.
As of today, Aviation Equipment has prepared proposals for the undercarriage, hydraulic and fuel systems, electrical power generation and supply system, as well as the auxiliary power supply system, the air conditioning system, firefighting and deicing equipment.
CEO of the United Aircraft Corporation Yury Slyusar said that the preliminary design for the new aircraft project will be complete as early as July 2015.
“We intend to bid for contracts to build the key systems and are prepared to manufacture competitive state-of-the-art equipment,” CEO of the Aviation Equipment Holding Company Maxim Kuzyuk says. “The current economic situation in this case is actually even going to help us: our bid can be very competitive versus those submitted by international players in the market.”
