France to take Norwegian LNG cargo

OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2015. France is set to receive a Norwegian LNG cargo aboard the 162,400m? BW GDF Suez Brussels on 26 February.

The tanker was anchored not far from Norway's 4.2mn t/yr Snohvit liquefaction train today, but had not yet loaded a cargo.

The shipment was not previously part of the delivery schedule, as another delivery slot has been allocated at the 7.25mn t/yr Montoir receiving terminal to accommodate it.

Following the addition, the terminal has three slots allotted for deliveries and one for a re-export in February.

The 137,000m? LNG Bayelsa delivered a Nigerian cargo to Montoir on 4 February while the 153,000m? Provalys arrived to perform a reload today. The 122,000m? LNG Port Harcourt is also scheduled to arrive at Montoir a day before the BW GDF Suez Brussels.

In the south of France the 75,500m? Cheikh El Mokrani has been scheduled to deliver an Algerian cargo to the 4mn t/yr Fos Tonkin terminal on 13 February, while the arrival of the similarly sized Cheikh Bouamama, also to Fos Tonkin, was pushed back from today to 11 February.
