OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has become one of the participants of the program of voluntary insurance of residential property, which was launched in the Krasnodar Territory at the end of December 2014. The company was selected to participate in the program on the basis of the decision of the tender committee.

As part of the program which has been introduced, the residents of Krasnodar Territory will be able to insure residential property against the risks of fire, explosion caused by any reason (other than a terrorist attack); accidents in the heating system, water supply system, sewerage and internal drainage systems; water damage and hazardous geological, hydrological, meteorological phenomena and processes.

The program of voluntary insurance of residential property in the Krasnodar Territory will provide additional financial assurance to citizens and protect their interests in case of natural and man-made emergencies. 11 more insurance companies have already applied for the participation in the program and have been approved for the competitive selection.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company has extensive experience in the settlement of losses incurred by large numbers of people. In particular, as a result of the flooding in Krymsk in the summer of 2012, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company settled more than 40 applications of its customers, paying over RUB 15 m in insurance compensation. Payments to legal entities for the losses incurred as a result of the said disaster exceeded RUB 26 m.
